We usually notice how happy children (and their family) always respond to the attention and recognition. And the children of Kenya? It stimulates, empowers them that they can cooperate with their drawings in the fundraising and work for their future.

is proud to present: ArtKids oil paintings in the period 23 June 2009 to 9 July 2009 The gallery and sculpture garden "Huis van Steen", Lommerrijk 2, Lelystad, The Netherlands is open on all days (except Monday) from 11.00 to 17.00 hours. The paintings are inspired by simple recognizable children's drawings. The exhibited paintings are made by Tamara Voorn, ArtKids.

Together with my wife Christine I desire and work hard, to make a difference among communities, who are deprived economically and socially. We did this through setting up programs, projects and activities that can give them an opportunity to realize their potentials and improve their status and livelihood. |

Nearly all exhibited paintings are inspired by drawings by children from Kenya. |
Marion Aerts-Mhlanga offers a platform to the best artists from this African country. Marion: "the sculptors from Zimbabwe make images based on both fantasy and reality and are always full of emotion and beauty. Furthermore, the sculptures show a lot of craftsmanship and artistry.
